All new tenders sent out after 17 October 2016 must use the new contract templates.

Construction or building works
Minor Works Contract
Can be used for low value building works or infrastructure (consented and non-consented), including repair, refurbishment and interior fit out.
This contract is not suitable for use where the work to be carried out will affect the building envelope (external walls, floor and roof). The only exception to this rule is where the work carried out is a targeted emergency patch repair.

This contract is suitable for use where the work to be carried out will affect the building envelope (external walls, floor and roof).

MOE Construction Contract relating to the Project - Contract Template
Major Construction Works Contract
Can be used for major building works or infrastructure (consented and non-consented), including demolition, new build, repair, refurbishment, remediation and interior fit out.
This contract is suitable for use where the work to be carried out will affect the building envelope (external walls, floor and roof).
This contract is based on the construction industry standard NZS 3910:2013 contract with Ministry Special Conditions.
