This study awards supports the University of Canterbury’s Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching: Deaf and Hearing
The diploma is:
- made up of 4 papers
- delivered part time over 2 years (2 papers per year)
- delivered by distance study combined with 2 compulsory block courses each year (3to 4 days each). The first course runs from the Massey University Albany campus in February and the second runs from the University of Canterbury Christchurch campus in July.
In your second year of study, you will undertake a 20-day practicum (part time across one to two terms). You will work alongside field staff. You will need to consider how you will coordinate your work, study and home life during this time.
